This 2008 vintage is one of the best I have ever tasted from this tiny estate. This is cold climate Chardonnay at its very best. Lower clay content in the vineyards gives this wine that classic wet white stone flavor that makes Chablis truly special. At first sniff you will find some subtle stone fruit with a sassy lemon rind lift but once the wine hits your tongue it explodes with fresh minerals, lemon curd and that ever alluring doughy savory character that is the signature of true Chablis.
